Dr. Edwanna Andrews
Dr. Edwanna Andrews serves as the Interim Assistant Vice President for Community Support Services at the University of Central Florida. Her portfolio includes the following departments Social Justice and Advocacy, Multicultural Academic and Support Services, LGBTQ+ Services, Multicultural Student Center and TRIO Programs (which houses 7 federally funded grant projects). Additionally, she provides leadership to the Just Knights Bias Incident Response Team and oversight of diversity education for her division- Student Development and Enrollment Services. In her current role she works with students, faculty, and staff to create purposeful action that leads to an accessible and inclusive campus environment. Edwanna has worked in student affairs for the past 17 years and currently serves on a variety of university committee’s and holds leadership positions in national higher education organizations. Additionally, Edwanna teaches undergraduate courses in Sociology, Interdisciplinary Studies, and Strategies for Success. Edwanna is a three-time graduate of the University of Central Florida earning a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Public Relations, Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, and a Ph.D. in Sociology. She is also a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
